About the Collection

The Bauhaus collection covers a large variety of work from 1880 until now, with a total collection of 7010 items.These design works include furniture, utensils, glass, silverware and paintings, and most precious of all, 356 Bauhaus works from 1900 to 1933. The Bauhaus collection provides standout documentation on the most creative periods in the history of modern design such as Deutscher Werkbund, the Bauhaus, Ulm. The extensive collection covers the works by the famous masters, including Walter Gropius, Johannes Itten, Paul Klee, Lyonel Feininger, Vasily Kandinsky, Josef Albers, Oskar Schlemmer, László Moholy-Nagy and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.
